Igloo FR180 1.7-Cu-Ft Stainless Steel Door Refrigerator

This is a replacement for my 5 year old no name fridge. It works great in my office and is quiet. The temp control is on the outside in the back. A bad design because to change it you have to pull it out from under your desk. It also came shipped very fast. There was a dent in the side and most of there get dented in shipping. Works great.

It works. That's about all I can say. It is quiet when the door is closed but VERY loud when you open the door. The temperature control in the back of the unit is a feature that shows the cheapness of this unit. I have to pull it from under my desk and rearrange everything to get to the back of the unit to adjust the temperature. The back of the unit is 1/2 unfinished and has wires sticking out. Lastly, it was very poorly packed - the bottom of the box was barely taped on at part of the unit was exposed. If this was a purchased for home use it would have been refused, but since I am in an office, the package was accepted as is and I do not have the time to deal with it here. Like I said - it works, but there is a reason that this unit is cheap. I'd recommend bypassing this one and spending a bit more.....

Small but holds about 12 bottles of water. Perfect for upstairs fridge to hold baby's midnight feedings. Highest setting gets the beverages really cold. Fast shipping. The first one was received damaged but was replaced

Just received so I can't really comment on the operation of the mini fridge. The packaging was terrible as others had commented...it has a dent and chipped paint but fortunately where it will not be seen. It had no styrofoam to secure and protect it.

It keeps stuff cold, so that is good. One negative is that the shipping protection was lacking, so there was a dent in the door. I don't really care about that, though. There is one huge problem. I would actually probably give it 5 stars, except... when it kicks on, it is SOOOO LOUD. The compressor is just plain noisy. If it wasn't such as hassle, I would return it, but whatever, I'll get used to it... I think. Knowing what I know now, I would GLADLY pay more for a quiet one. If you don't care about noise, it's fine, but if you are going to be sitting near this thing, such as in your office or cube, stay away.
