Make sure you write down for substitutions because the substitutions are huge cost me more money but I didn't get credit for that

I used this butter to make chocolate chip cookies and I am unhappy with the results. The batter was so thick, it was very hard to mix in the chips. The batter was also very sticky and hard to work with. The baked cookies did not have much butter flavor.

Unlike every other brand of butter that we use--and we use a lot of butter--Darigold is not as soft as other butters when left out at room temperature. If a recipe calls for softened butter, Darigold is often not soft enough to mix easily with other ingredients without a little heating. Also trying to spread room temperature Darigold on soft bread is not satisfactory; it often tears the bread.
