DC Super Hero Girls Super Hero High School Playset

We bought this set after buying all the 6 inch action figures to go with it, so they have a place to play. the play set has a lot of great features and different ways to play with it. the batgirl action doll it came with is not as sturdy as the other action figures and the leg broke when my daughter tried to sit her. the school itself is very entertaining and has pegs to stand the dolls on which helps when you have the whole collection. overall good product and fun to play with. check out the video for unboxing and review.

My daughters love superhero's, but most products are geared towards the boys of course. This set changes that. The set is perfect for my 6 year old. The fact that the hero's are teens make her feel like it's cool and not a toddler toy. It was a little confusing to put some parts together, but overall not too difficult. To be honest, I thought my girls would be overwhelmed when I saw all those parts and pieces while opening the box. Yet, assembling the play tower was a blast - I have to admit I couldn't resist the temptation to help out and have fun as well ;) Even though some parts felt a bit flimsy, once assembled the whole construction feels sturdy and robust enough for play time. The thing my girls (and me included) love most about this set is the zip line and how you can arrange it in multiple ways. This way, we don't get bored and can have the Batgirl action figure zip lining in many ways. One of my daughters also took some cute pictures of her hamster climbing (at least, he tried) on the play set. The pictures came out really good. No wonder, the play set has very bright colors. Oh, we took also a video of Batgirl zip lining down. I must say it's taller than I thought and the video is quite exciting to watch. This set is really made for playing. No parts broke so far and it resisted even the sometimes very stubborn chewing of our hamster. I also love it for the looks. It simply gives it a feeling of adventure and teaches my daughters that they can also play (and maybe be) superheroes) and not just "damsels in distress". My 8 year old daughter was able to put this together with help from me mainly snapping things together. The directions are pretty easy and are displayed as a picture. This is a great toy for girls who like super heros as this type of theme is steered towards boys. Once built it stands about 2 feet and is easy to get small hands thru while playing. Batgirl came with the one we have and once the boys saw Batgirl zip lining from the tower they quickly wanted to play too. If more than one child is playing it should be advised that you purchase additional action figures as the box set only comes with one which is shown in a display window on the front of the box. This model has several things the actions figures can do which make them fly and add to their imaginations. My daughter was excited that the grappling line made an actual noise that you would think a real one would make if used. The zip line has a suction cup that can be suctioned to the floor, the wall or wherever their imaginations took them. The top portion spins and 3 different action figures can spin as if they're flying around the top of the school. The boys ran and got some of their action figures to add to the fun (instead of taking turns because they said that wouldn't be fun and I agree). The kids had a blast with this thing for hours making swooshing noises, pretending to hold a super hero class and pretending to fight crime and bullying in the school. It was awesome to watch the kids sit around this thing and be able to do stuff with out it being to crowded around the toy because hands can pass thru all around the toys structure. My seven year old has been playing with this set everyday. Her favorite feature has to be that zip line. What and incredible sense of adventure this provides for girls. It really is not like anything she has in her toy selection. It is full of action. It comes with one action figure and more can be added. Batgirl can fly across her zip line or swing around the building top. My seven year old is able to play with it and use all the functions on her own. I did assemble and it took me roughly 15 minutes start to finish using the instructions. Everything snaps into place and it will not fit if its the wrong way which made it so much easier for me to put together. There are many features to play there is even a desk and a lunch table with pretend food on it. I love that the zipline has a suction cup so the playset can move from place to place with ease.
