Being diabetic for the past few years I have worn slippers most of the time at home. Poor circulation caused my feet to be always cold, now I enjoy total comfort and my feet are never cold. Everyone should enjoy a pair but for a diabetic I recommend them at the totally.
These are quite warm, and very comfortable. I have found that after a couple hours of wearing them, I need to slip them off for a few minutes. I am happy with my purchase. I have deducted a star because of the sizing. As a true size 14, I have trouble finding shoes in my size. I ordered these because they had them in 14. When I received them and put them on, they seemed pretty snug so I checked the bottom, and sure enough, they are marked 13/14. I would not have ordered these if they were marked correctly on the order page. They do seem to be loosening up a little with wear. I like the fact that they have rubber soles, so if I need to go out to the mailbox, they won't be ruined.
Very nice slippers. Great price. Might want to purchase one size up if planning on wearing socks with these. Bought as gift very pleased with the purchase.
Glad to finally have another pair of these bootie slippers, on clearance too. Previous pair lasted for years till the soles started to break down My feet measure about 10.5", so I figured the 9/10 size would be best and the 11/12 would be too loose and I'd walk out of them at the heel, according the the size guide here. I take 10s in some shoes and 10.5s in others, and have another pair of size 10 slippers that fit fine. The Dearfoams are a bit snug tho, more width and height-wise inside than length. My toes are right at the tip of the shoe inside, but not crunched, so pretty sure a 11/12 would be too loose. My feet are borderline wide width, and I have a fairly high instep, but usually fit ok in normal width sizes, all depends on the brand. So hoping these stretch a little as they get broken in. Construction has improved since my last pair, and the sole is well thicker, plus has the 'mudguard' section to help repel dirt and moisture if you go outside. As for the inside cushioning, it's ok, but as with all memory foam stuff, it smushes down flat very quickly while you wear them, so don't expect them to be 'bouncy' for any length of time. I can't fit another insole on top as my feet won't fit, but others might be able to. Can only wear thin socks with these too, so I'd suggest to Dearfoams to make these a tiny bit wider and taller. But you'll see reviews saying they fit fine, are too big, or too small, all for the same size, so all you can do is try them and see for yourself. I do like the over-the-ankle style, it helps keep the ankles warm when the long pants don't go far enough down when you're sitting. But would I ever pay the now $50 retail price (verified stamped on the hang tag)? NO way. I don't see how slippers cost so much. So super glad WM had them online on clearance.
I could not get on my feet, thought they might be a little roomy once I got them on but don't know. Gave them to a friend. She says they are warm and kept them.
