Let me start out by saying I've only ever owned genuine suede slippers… I was on the hunt for a cute but inexpensive pair of slippers to knock around during the summer when I didn't need something warm and fuzzy. The pink chenille is very cute and feminine. The fit is true to size. I didn't bother to look into the features and benefits of the slipper before I purchased - but upon receiving I read the hang tag with info that they have memory foam and are machine washable! The only negative thing I can comment was how long it took to ship the slippers. I would recommend these slippers to anyone looking for something soft and cozy.
I love these slippers. Dearfoams are the only slippers I can wear since they have memory foam. The pain in my feet is so bad, it only gets worse if I wear anything other than these. I actually get relief when wearing these. The fit is perfect and they come in a few different colors as well.
Chenille is on the outside, and the inside is plain cotton fabric. Some sort of slightly fuzzy fabric on the top of your foot but still is not chenille. Still, they are comfy! Last month when my legs %26 ankles were swollen, it was nice that the shoes were accommodating to allow my feet to be swollen via the little 'vent' at the top middle of the slippers. Overall, I like them!
They are soft; they have a nice sole on them. As for sizing, they are way too wide. I will wash them and use them, but I won't buy again. I used to love Dearfoams, but the quality is pretty terrible anymore. The fabric in the last couple pairs I have bought stretches out so badly they are sloppy to wear. I hate the tag they sew inside, in the arch of all places, that needs cut out and is still irritating to the skin. These will be my last Dearfoams, and I have worn Dearfoams for decades.
I love Dearfoams slippers; they are the only brand I buy. Other than sizing issues (which were my fault for guessing at the size) I have never had a problem or disliked a pair as much as I do these. For context, I probably buy, water, and wear out about 6-8 pairs a year. I wear these around the house and also since there is a rubber sole, I wear them to take my dog on short walks outside (he is old, so we do not get to go on long walks much anymore). The thing I dislike about these is there are tags inside that were never in other pairs I bought, and I feel like when I try to pull the tag it will take the seam of the slipper with it. Cutting the tag just leaves the tag edge up against the inside of my foot. I am not sure if these slippers were manufactured at a different place or if, God forbid, they start adding the tags going forward on all slippers. There is another tag that is inside the slipper that faces the bottom of my foot. Those are typical of Dearfoams, but again, this tag is aggravating. It seems to be made of a material with maybe plastic or vinyl in it as opposed to a soft fiber.
