Very nice system and does all that I expected. Do Not Be Fooled, it is not completely wireless. The 2 cameras need to be connected to 110 volts. But other than that it is wireless and works quite well for the price. I am completely satisfied with system and I think you will be too.

We like the idea that we can talk to and see people who come up to the door and we don't have to answer it if we don't know the person. The picture is very clear except if it is foggy outside it will look like it is snowing, but you can still make things out.It has so many options that we did not no it had. Like you can have all the camera's showing on the screen at the same time or you can continuously set it o switch between all the camera's. So far it is working great and we like it and feel safer..

Ordered the defender as a secondary wireless security system because current one in place only came in white cameras and the black defender cameras would not stand out as much. Product was easy to set up, basically plug and play. The power cords to cameras is way too short so even placing on a 12 ceiling meant adding electrical wiring. Once unit was set up, system paired quickly. One camera has a cloudy ring displayed on the monitor that makes things seem blurring unless really close to camera, very annoying. Another feature that made me rate this low is the system has is a delay in start up motion activated record. Several time the person was already out of range or even recorded because unit failed to start recorded timely...not good. But the worst feature of this system and why would not recommend it is there is no back up battery to monitor. The wireless system we have in place is another brand and bought the Defender to increase security with another monitor. My "other" wireless system monitor has a built in battery so you can take the monitor with you if go outside or into another area of work. But the BIG difference is if there is a power outage as we experienced the Defender will not record unless the monitor is turned on. Beware....Without a built in back up battery, the Defender has to be manually turned back on to work. Very dissappointing and we found out the hard as missed two days of recording until turned units back on. I plan on returning the Defender to get the Other brand with the build in battery back up with monitor. That one feature added to the Defender would make it a good product but without it only rate it fair.

I had problems with the motion sensor recording. camera two was constantly being set off even when there was no motion which also kept it from switching to camera one. if you set it to manual record it will only record on one camera. also it constantly has signal loss and constantly stops recording and puts up an error message. customer service is terrible. you get an automated message if you call and online chat is only available mon. thru fri 9am to 5pm. don't buy this!

The box of stuff had everything needed except normal tools. Installation was easy except attic work. Pairing cameras just happened with no input from me. Picture quality is ok, but positive ID may be a challenge. Good system to give you comfort and scare away threats..I would recommend it.
