The AW5500 outdoor speaker equipped with Definitive Technology's Balanced Double Surround System (BDSS) driver pressure-coupled to racetrack Planar Low Bass Radiator, provides a wide-bandwidth accurate frequency response, broad dispersion, low distortion, and detail retrieval for clear, high-definition reproduction of vocals and instruments. Each speaker features a fully sealed (air and water tight) design, aluminum grilles, and rugged PolyStone enclosure that allows it to be fully exposed to the elements and still reliably deliver their indoor speaker sound quality for years of outdoor listening enjoyment. The included galvanized steel mounting brackets give 360-degree placement flexibility, and they can also be removed for ease of positioning on a shelf or table in an outdoor area.
