I'm a woman. I have odd skin chemistry. Anything frilly makes me put a skunk to shame. So I use products for men. That being said, this stuff is a powerhouse. I use it right after a shower, and when I get ready to shower the next day, I'm still dry and smelling fresh. On those rare days when I skip a shower, I'm still dry and smelling fresh the day after - well, my pits do, anyway. We won't discuss the rest. But that's 48 hours! I don't care that it's a little more expensive than some other brands. It works better than those other brands, including the ones that are more expensive.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For much of my life I have dealt with the embarrassment of overactive sweat glands commonly called hyperhidrosis. Like myself, I'm sure you've tried the other brands of "clinical strength" antiperspirants and found that a common side effect is irritation and raw skin at application site. Degree has perfected the formula! After using it for nearly a month I have yet to experience the sore skin like other brands and better yet, the sweating that I was once accustomed. Gone are the "pit-stains" on my undershirts, the anxiety of having soggy armpits at social functions, and of course the odor... The instructions indicate the proper application time is before bed. I had a hard time developing that habit and stuck to using after my morning shower with stellar results. The key point I found to be very important - as indicated on the package is to ensure armpits are completely dry prior to use. A little goes a long way. Just a click or two of the dispenser is all you need for protection that lasts and lasts. I'm confident this one "stick" will last at least another month; making it a better value than ordinary deodorant. I was very surprised how well Degree Clinical Strength worked! I didn't tell my wife I was using it, she made several comments about how good I smelled and how dry my underarms were. I can't say for sure it's the Degree but we have become much closer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok. The Degree Clinical Antiperspirant is great stuff. I'll tell you how I know. I decided to play some tackle football after washing the car. Of course I used the Degree Clinical Antiperspirant n the morning before I left to do all this. The result? Well, my face was covered in sweat but surprisingly my underarms were comfortable, dry and didn't stink!!! I'm REALLY impressed!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best antiperspirant I ever tried. For starters other products caused me to break out and itch. Not this one. I love the way it dispenses, a click or two and you are ready to go. No more lopsided or broken sticks. Most importantly, it works. No stained clothes or odor. I won't use any other antiperspirant again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have typically used other anti-perspirants in the past, and this stuff is stronger. When I have sweat, it refuses to let my armpits show it, and the fragrance is quite nice. While it works very well (will even work after showering and applying soap), I reduced it a couple stars for the product design. First, the actual product is foam-like, and is a bit of a mess - upon applying, as well as even while in rest, as the cap to the product just spreads the foam across the plastic container. Secondly, it has never raised consistently with two clicks, as suggested. On one quarter of the applicator, it raises just enough, and on the other three quarters, it is still below the dispensing cap. Inconsistent at best, which psychologically forces one to turn the clicker more to ensure all quarters of the dispenser are covered, then that provides more foam in some areas than is actually needed. If you are okay with either of these annoyances, then it's a good product. I, however, am not encouraged to purchase the product again because of the application method and corresponding mess.
