Wooden spokes/supports broke when I left it up on a breezy day. Wood splintered & broke where it would have been hard to repair without re-doing the whole thing w/new wood, not worth the time/trouble. Also does not have crank-type open/close feature, I had to climb on picnic table seat to open & put the pin in/out of the pole. Pain in the butt. Would never buy another with manual open/close, nor another with wooden spokes. "Durable" hardwood should hold up better.

The color is great, there is no tilt, which I knew ahead of time, the width is big enough where it is not much of a concern. My issue is the pin. There is not a crank, it literally just pushes up like a rain umbrella, I am 5'7 and I cannot reach the lowest setting to insert the pin to keep the umbella up, this is a problem. Another issue I have is that the poles screw apart, not a push button like the metal ones, it takes forever to get them undone if u take the umbrella down for the night.

My old market umbrella is showing wear (after 15 years) so I decided to get a new one and didn't want to pay a ransom for one... The umbrella frame is well made and quite sturdy but the canopy/cover is flimsy.... I thought it was a sunbrella fabric top.... NOT... I should have made inquiries before buying.... I'm sure it will do it's job but not quite as long... I did find a place to get replacement sunbrella tops.... so all is not lost... It is a handsome looking product....

WOW!! What can I say...we bought one of these delahey umbrella's last year for our annual beach trip and loved it so much we bought another one this year. When everyone else's umbrella was blowing away and breaking w/ the ocean wind, our stood solid as a rock. I highly recommened this product for anyone who is a beach lover who spends lots of time at the beach. Great shaded area it gives too. Easy to set up and great case to put it back in.

This would have been a beautiful umbrella had it not broke when initially raising the ubrella. After placing it in the stand I went to raise it, push up type, and one of the wooden umbrella spokes snapped in half and I had to return it. I cannot imaging how flimsy it would be in the wind.
