Delonghi Trn0812 Solaris Oil-filled Radi

Other reviewers correct: no issues with refurbished. Looks new based on packaging, etc. Important to turn on 'high' outdoors for 3-6 hrs. before initial use to bake off any smells plus use compressed air dusting can to clean off any residual styrofoam flakes lurking within the heat fins. Othewise, excellent appliance

I have purchased refurbished products before and have had great luck with them. I doubt this product was refurbished, I think that the box was resealed and then resold. The heater arrived in a badly damaged box, the heater it self was dirty and damaged. The was no packaging on the inside of the box to protect the unit, except for an 18 square inch of bubble wrap. If the product had arrived undamaged still could not have used it as there was no instruction manual.

We are so pleased with the DeLonghi TRN0812 REFURBISHED Radiator Heater :) It can really put out the heat when needed on those really cold days, or turn it down and have just enough heat to take off the chill. I have bought other REFURBISHED items and have been totally satisfied with them. Just make sure if you have it at maximum heat, to watch little hands that might get burned.

Only had this for 2 weeks. Have had Delonghi heaters for years. Very dependable and quiet. This is the 1st refurb I have ever ordered. The high price of a new unit was prohibitive for me, but with my past Delonghi experience I thought I'd give it a try. The auto on/off timer sold me and works well. Hope it gives me the longivity I am used to.

I love the heat and the ability to control the amount of heat (when and how much). However, the control panel has broken on two units. Quite easily I might add, too easily.
