Delta Children's Safe-n-Clear, Audio Baby Monitor

I am aware that this is a budget product, however it is awful. You can't hear a single thing if it isn't right up against your ear, even on full volume. I hoped that this was a great deal and that I would love it, however, it is a waste of 13.00. I'm very disappointed.

This monitor provides good , clear reception. We are currently using it in a 2 story home to provide coverage for a parent who is ill and currently on bed rest. When she calls, she can be heard clearly downstairs.

Rating: Highly Recommended. Use: AC adapters only, to monitor remote smoke detector - through 2 brick walls above some concrete floor & some metal equipment around. Total distance: ~ 50 feet (max 800 ft advertised for good conditions). Price Value: ~ $17 much cheaper & easier than ad-hoc developing a system & stringing wires. (If you have doubts, then it is only $17 & a keeper to be used elsewhere.) Notable Advantages: Very Simple to prepare & operate - out-of-the-box, plug adapters, link established (red LED if link is lost). (Also, double beep, when max amplitude is achieved.) Pin-hole microphone collects much & very well. Disadvantages: None noticed, after many weeks. (Battery option has not been used - though available for the Parent receiver.) Thank You : )

Works good. I usually only use it inside but I have used it outside while my daughter was napping and heard her perfectly. When not plugged in it will shut off even though the batteries are in it. One time when I unplugged it I went outside and after ten minutes it shut off and for two days wouldn't turn back on. Other than that it does its job.

This product is a great value for a budget friendly price.
