I read a lot of the reviews and ironically, the negative ones were why I decided to buy it. I make a lot of my own sunscreen products with Zinc Oxide, a mineral based sunscreen that DOES NOT ABSORB into the skin. As someone that get easily clogged pores, I don't want sunscreen in my pores, its very dense. This product alone DOES leave a white film on the skin so my recommendation and what I tried? I put on my daily moisturizer first, like always, then put a little of this product, my moisturizer and my liquid bare mineral foundation in my hand and mixed them together and worked them into my skin, avoiding my eyebrow. Afterwards if I felt like there were any areas that looked "chalky", I'd add a little coconut oil (or whatever your preference) because it also has SPF properties, but I also use the Vitamin C oil from Derma E too on dry spots on my face. This is just me. Once I found what worked, I loved it. I don't break out with this product, its not oily or heavy and when I sweat it doesn't cause havoc. I live in a desert environment and I'm a fair skinned redhead so not wearing SPF isn't an option.

Not a fan. Definitely feels like more of a sunscreen than a moisturizer. My skin is still very dry. It also makes your face clown-makeup white for the first 20 minutes or so before it soaks in. The sun protection is great though and it doesn't have quite as much of the awful sunscreen smell as a lot of mineral sunscreens have.

Terrible! I bout this by mistake and usually get the regular vitamin c moisturizer. Dry runny and leaves a thick white cast that won't absorb or rub off. Ended up throwing this away immediately.

I find this moisturizer to be a bit thick and sticky. It doesn't seem to be easily or quickly absorbed which is cumbersome during my morning routine…I have to wait quite a while to apply my makeup.

Need to use this product sparingly unless you want to have your skin tone turned white by the zinc oxide. That's why I gave it only 3 stars. I'll only use this when I plan to be outdoors for most of the day.
