Desert Essence Shampoo Ttree Rplnshng

This is a second purchase as this product is very good for an oily scalp. I had a stain on my pillow case from my hair, this shampoo does a good job of getting rid of the problem.

I have been using Tea Tree Shampoo for a number of years. Great for my hair and the scalp as I have some mild psoriasis there. Has really improved both. Another product also was good but not longer carried.

I find myself using 3x the amount of product than I did with the coconut shampoo from Desert Essence. It does not lather, which is fine, but it also doesn't seem to penetrate my hair or the oils in it at all. I frequently shampoo twice just to get my hair to feel like it's clean. Even then, my hair is left to look and feel greasy and weighed down once it's dried, almost as if I left conditioner in my hair and tried to dry my hair. Not ordering again, unfortunately. Going back to the coconut shampoo.

It is really bad when you wash you hair with this shampoo and your hair is just a greasy after washing as when you went in. I made the mistake of purchasing a bunch of these thinking that their quality would be as good as the last brand I had purchased from them. Boy was I wong! Now I am stuck with a bunch of shampoo that is horrible and I can't find the other brand anywhere. Go figure.

The ingredients used to be purified water, cocamide DEA (from coconut oil), tea tree oil, hydrolized wheat protein, babassu oil, eucalpyptus oil, lavendar oil, rosemary oil, geranium oil, chamomile oil, sodium salt, methylparaben, citirc acid. When you compare to the new ingredients, you might feel as I do, that the new Tee Tree Replenishing Shampoo is a completely different product from the old one. I liked the old one very much and wish they would have just raised the price instead of replacing it with what I feel is a cheapened product.
