This brush feels sturdy and it is full of bristles. It works great in all hair types. First thing we noticed was how quiet it was going through the hair. I know that seems like weird thing to notice, but it really is a quiet brushing session. It does a great job for smoothing out the tangles and making the hair look really nice. The bristles seem to be in the holder good but time will tell if they stay in better than other brushes. Kids and adults like to use this brush. The wood handle always makes things look nicer even when you forget to put it away. It's just stylish enough to add to your bathroom appearance and not take away from it with tacky looking items. It fits good in the hand, even for those little hands in training. I truly hope this is a brush to last us a long time as we have long and short hair. Haven't noticed if cleaning the brush does well but should know in a short time how easy or not it is to pull the hair out and to wash it of the build up and grime.

This is amazing detangling brush and it is 100% bamboo. It is completely organic and perfectly safe for young children and the environment. When I first got this brush, I wasn't sure how well it was going to work because the bristles were so thin, not what we were normally used to using. Surprisingly I was wrong. The thin bristles made it easier to brush through my daughter's tangles. When it got to the tangles that would normally get stuck in the bristles, these would bend instead of holding on tight to the tangles to push through causing the hair to be ripped out. The engineering with of thin bendable bristles, has made it less painful when doing my daughter's hair, for the both of us. Also, there was not a lot of hair left in the brush after doing her hair. I have yet to try this brush on my hair which is a little bit thicker and curlier than my daughter's. I am sure that it will work just fine on my hair as it has done surprisingly well with my daughter's hair. This brush also kept her curls in her hair. Our other brush that we normally use is a flat brush with thicker bristles, and that usually leaves both of our hair detangled but flat and straight. My girl was able to keep her curls after getting her hair brushed while it was dry.

My daughter and I been using it everyday so far and it's easy to comb and help with the knots. The quality is good doesn't seem like it would break easy.

First of all, it actually works! It really detangles hair! I was pretty skeptical at first but I was very pleasantly surprised. My hair is very long (to my waist) and tangles very badly so I figured it was worth a try. I could not believe how easilybit removed the tangles and glided through my hair. My hair is wavy and sort of thick and it worked amazingly on me. My daughter is three and her hair is fine and thin, about shoulder length and tangles a fair amount too. It worked great on her hair as well. It would work on any hair type or length. The bristles are thin and spaced out helping it to glide right through the tangles. It also left my hair with a nice feel and also tamed the frizz a little too. It really made for a good hair day! The handle is wooden and seems more durable than plastic handled brushes. I will be getting one of these for my sister with super thick wavy hair and my mom also (thick curly hair). I highly recommend this to others and I am very happy with it! I love this brush and I think you will too!

This is a beautiful brush! It's has a sleek and shiny finish that showcases the 100% natural bamboo oval base flawlessly. Even the little b stamped on the handle symbolizing the Beauty by Earth brand feels classy and elegant. That said, this brush did nothing to untangle my thick, dark Sicilian-Italian hair, despite claims on the packaging that it's made for all hair types. The bristles simply are way too thin and flexible to be effective on thick, dense, or coarse hair. I was lucky to get one knot out of my hair within ten minutes of brushing. However, I decided to try it on my three year old's baby fine hair (she inherited from her daddy's side of the family) and it worked immediately and quite effectively - gently detangling knots from her sensitive little scalp with ease and no tears! My three year old inherited her baby fine hair from her grandmother, so I asked her if I could try the brush on her hair and, again, it worked wonderfully - gliding through her hair with nice clean strokes. Conclusion: This brush works great on thin, soft, and fine hair, but I would not recommend it for thick, dense, or coarse hair.
