DF by Dearfoams Men's Felt Clog Slipper

I ordered the size small (mens shoe size 7-8). They fit comfortably and are wide enough (like an E width in a shoe). Style-wise, they're a casual-looking slipper you would use around the house. The bottom soles have a nice grippy texture; doesn't slide around on the bare floor or carpet. The insoles are a bit slippery. They're a flannel material, so when you're walking, your heels (at least mine do) tend to slide left/right as you walk. Nice average ok slippers to keep your feet warm and protected on house floors.

I was happy to see these came in extra large as my son wears a size 13 shoe and it is often difficult to find things that will fit him. He came to visit over the holidays and did wear the slippers here but chose not to take them home with him. The color is nice and the padding on the bottom is good. They did keep his feet from being extremely cold when wearing them, but not warm. There is one flaw in the design which make the slippers unappealing to wear. The top part is way too tall and wide, so that the top of the slipper does not come close to touching the top of the foot. In fact, a fairly large gap. That makes the slipper uncomfortable to walk in and not very cozy or warm. It is not because he is a very skinny person, I'd say between average and large. So, you would have to be quite a large person for these to fit you well.

My husband has been chronically dissatisfied with a number of slippers over the years. The first time he put them on, he loved them. The memory foam seems to be the key to a comfortable fit. The slipper itself is well made/stitched with a substantial sole adequate to quick trips outdoors. The color is a good neutral for a man. I highly recommend this DF by Dearfoam Men's Felt Clog Slipper for maximum comfort during lounge times.

These Dearfoams felt clog slippers are soft and luxurious to your feet. Easy to put on in that you just walk into them. You do not have to pull them over your heel as the back of the slipper is very low. I wear a size 13 shoe and the extra large size is plenty big. It would easily fit a size 14 or 15 as well. These slippers have a very sturdy non-slip sole. I wear them around the house and out to get the morning newspaper. I would definitely recommend these slippers.

The main reason I like these slippers is because of the clog construction. They go on so easily so that you don't need to bend over and squeeze your foot into them. Yet as easily as they go on, they stay on despite what appears to be a very small lip at the back of the shoe. Now compare this to the backless slipper. These are also easy to get into, but you must be cognizant of them wanting to slip off. With the clog style, you can get a comfy loose fit without the shoe coming off all the time. I also like the solid plastic bottom with tread that allows you to go out of the house, even when the path is wet. Actually, I only go out into the garage with the slippers because I would rather keep my carpets clean (yes, I swap shoes at the door). Also, I don't think you would look right going to the store with slippers – unless you also think going to the store in pajamas is ok. The memory foam is touted as a big feature on these slippers. While at first it seems really soft, that quickly fades as you walk in them to the extent that the memory foam is not really significant. The best feature is that the slipper is a fabulous value!
