Dickies Mens and Big Mens Indigo Bib Overall

I wear the overalls for work. They allow me to stay cool in the summer, and keep me warm in winter. They are flexible, allowing me to move freely, and the pockets hold my equipment.

These overall are just what I was looking for - classic, durable, something to wear while working my garden. The only critique would be that they are REALLY long. I take a 32 inseam, but I would order a 30 next time.

I have 3 other brands of bibbed overalls. size 42, 44 and 46 and all fit me fine. All are length 32. I like the length shorter, so the bottoms of the pants don't rub the ground at all. This keeps them from wearing out on the bottom. I ordered the Dickies in 44 x 32 and they are HUGE. Way long in the legs and very wide around the middle. My wife is going to wash them twice and see if they shrink any. I know I will have to have them hemmed. Not very happy with the sizing. I'm just over 6 feet tall and weigh about 230 pounds.

UNBELIEVABLE, The Change to the Pockets is completely USELESS. Been a Loyal Customer for 40 years. First my Favorite stone washed came with a Bib pocket that can't even hold a Note pad. So Then I ordered the indigo, Great... They Came with the right side tool pockets cut in half, cant even put a level in there. SMH... If you made these changes to SAVE MONEY, Good Luck selling them to WORKING MEN...

Being not a lightweight 5'6" tall, I need to chop off about 6" from the legs. I hem them up just like I watched my Mom and Grandma do hundreds of times many years ago. I also sew the straps to a permanent length for me. I even have some cutoffs that are nic in the summertime. My Name is Richard. Most of my friends call me Dick, I haven't heard "Dickie" for a long time now. Except on my clothes.
