I bought this vacuum cleaner two years ago, and it works great on carpet, but not on bare floors. If you try to use it on bare floors, it will simply spit the debris from the back of the cleaner and not suck it in. I also have a dog, and the vacuum cleaner works very poorly on pet hair; it clogs at least once during every use and i have to disassemble it to unclog it, which is very frustrating. On the other hand, if you don't have a pet and don't need to use it on bare floors, it's fine. The filters become clogged more frequently than the recommended 6 months, so keep that in mind when calculating the overall costs of this cleaner. They run about $10 and should ideally be replaced every other month if you vacuum regularly.

We have purchased four of these little light weight vacuums for the company. It is a great little vacuum and very light weight. We don't expect it to last forever due to the price but we would rather pay a very low price for something that works then 500.00 for something that does not. If you are looking for something light weight and works very well this is a great little vac. HAPPY VACUUMING!!

I owned several bigger and pricier vacuums before, and because we keep moving from place to place we kept getting new vacuums all the time. So, I got this one because, it was more appealing and the cheapest and also it said that it good for bare floors and carpets, as my previous vacuums worked for one specific areas only. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised when I started using this vac. It has it prons and cons: Prons: 1. Very lightweight, and easy to maneuver , 2. Did great job on my medium height carpet in two rooms and on bare kitchen tile floor and bathroom, 3. Had good suction I could even see the shades moving on the window when I was vacuuming under on tile floors, 4. The quiet vacuum I ever had! I used to return couple of previous ones for the noise level, as I have small kids, who get horrified from loud vacuum noises. 5. For the combination of power, performance and multi-surface cleaning relatively quite and very lightweight and easy to store, this could be the winner of all, but I also found some prons: Prons: 1. Very Short cord, I mean the shortest I ever had on full size vacuums: I live in one level relatively small one bed apartment, but the cord keeps knocking off from the outlet, making me pause and turn it on again in closer location. I used to plug in previous vacs just ones and get the job done till the end, not with this one! I was even surprised when I saw the picture of the long cord on the advertising, that in not what you will get! 2. You will get the upright vacuum only, no attachments, nothing to pull out the staff that occasionally stick in the corners, 3. The vac still lacks in very good suction to work as a deep cleaning vacuum, I believe it only does a superficial job, 4.I only used for a week on almost a daily basis, but I feel like this vac will not last long, as sounds very fragile, so I am worried that it will break right after I may be able to return it for a refund, but that's just some thought. Generally, I would recommend this vac to someone who needs quick cleaning on daily basis using just one lightweight equipment and who are willing to maneuver to help in picking large staff by hand, to avoid the clogging, and also who appreciate low noise vacuums. I don't think this vacuum is good enough for larger carpeted areas with long and thick carpet textile. It could definitely work as a additional light vacuum for quick pick ups.

Well, it picks up pet hair and sucks real good, but man it is too loud for me. My head is still throbbing! It scares the dog! I can't believe they made it so loud. I am now waiting for the nieghbors to complain. I wouldn't recommend it for an apartment or if you have a baby. WOW! It's LOUD. Returning it! I'll spend a few more bucks for something more quite!

At first I loved this vacuum because it is cheap and bagless. Now that I've used it more I've noticed two big drawbacks. First, it's fine on carpet that's not too dirty (more on that in a minute) but it doesn't clean hardwood or linoleum well. I assume this is due to the fact that the head only has one setting, i.e. it can't be raised or lowered. Secondly, when I use it on carpet that's fairly dirty with pet hair, it clogs every time. It is possible to unclog it but you have to remove 7 screws to do so. My dogs are a type that don't shed so I don't have a lot of animal hair so I don't think I'm expecting the immpossible from this vacuum. Bottom line: for the money, it does a good job on light to moderately dirty carpet. If you have pets or need to vacuum linoleum or hardwood, you'll need to spend more money to get the job done.
