Dirt Devil Quick Power Stick Vacuum

I bought this vacuum for my 2 1/2 year old to help with the vacuuming since the toy vacuums were more expensive than this. It works great for this as it is light and easy to move around. The charge lasts for 30 minutes of straight vacumming but takes 12 hours to recharge again. It does pick up pet hair off the carpet but misses most of the crumbs on the kitchen rug. The switch to turn to bare floor or carpet or off she can do by herself too.

I bought this to vacuum hardwood floors. It has to charge for 24 hours to do one room. I also have to use the carpet setting since there is not enough suction with the bare floor setting. If you need to vacuum a quick spill, this works fine. But don't expect it to work for regular cleaning.

I purchased this product at my local WalMart. I wanted something for light/daily cleaning of my kitchen floor (hardwood). My first and ONLY concern is that I wanted a vacuum to pick up crumbs throughout the kitchen. This vacuum was OKAY for the first week. I wasn't blown away by it's suction power, but I thought it was OKAY. After the first week, the suction just became TERRIBLE! No matter how slow I vacuumed, or how many times I went over an area, it just stopped picking up. I'm not vacuuming pet hair or big chunks of dog food. I'm just trying to pick up crumbs that end up on the kitchen floor. I've taken the collection canister out several times, emptied it, cleaned the filter. NOTHING. This thing is just JUNK!! I regret that I have thrown all the packaging away...so there is probably NO chance of a refund. Here I sit with a $30 piece of junk that will probably end up sitting in a landfill for the next 100 years.

It works well for tile or hardwood floors. I hurt my back and this works well for me. I don't have to sweep the floor as often and when I do I just vaccum up the dirt pile. I am on my second one, the first one I bought fell over and stopped working. I bought another one because of the value for the price. If it had been more than $30 I would have considered another brand.

I have a small apartment with carpet and linoleum flooring. This product won't even pick up the smallest bit of dog kibble, it just bounces it around the floor. I was hoping this item would suffice until I could buy a more powerful vacuum, but it appears as though I wasted my money. I wouldn't buy this.
