Disney Toy Story Convertible Car

This is the first time I have ever reviewed a product. I read reviews regularly and often wonder if they are authentic. Here's our story: We bought this at Walmart for $99, which seemed like a good value. Out of the box the car was easy to assemble in less than 30 minutes. Basically you attach the wheels, tail fin, seat, and dashboard and you are ready to go. After charging the battery for the required time we were ready to test it out at 11 pm on Christmas eve so Santa could put it under the tree. THE CAR WAS DEAD!! NOTHING WORKED. Luckily Santa had a bunch of Toy Story dolls to accompany the car because we were out of luck. I recharged the batteries overnight to see if that might help but no. The day after Christmas, I called the company and was number 38 in line to speak to a representative. After a 45 minute wait, a helpful woman gave us many options to try to fix this. These included checking wires and connections, taking off the dashboard and pedals, bypassing switches and touching wires together to make it work. Nothing worked. It was her opinion that the battery was to blame and she recommended just taking it back to the store. So to future buyers out there. This is a true story by a real family. Upon looking at another review, it seems that this has happened before and with the number of customers on the phone the day after Christmas, I'm sure many other children and parents were disappointed on Christmas morning.

After being trampled over on black Friday over the white convertible. I came home and looked on line with his father which is Korea on overseas tour. Found this cute little car looks right for our two year old. Box can to the store beat up ripped, smashed and dented. On 23rd of December Charged the battery for 18 hours. put it together 12:00 am Christmas day. Battery fully charged. Worked for 15 mins and died.... Never gained power again. My son weights 22 pounds so go figure. Glad I saved this email feedback because I can't find it on the website anymore. I returned it today.

My hun & I ordered this convertible car for our almost 2 year old for Christmas. Although we have not yet put it together, we know our little guy is gonna LOVE IT!!! He loves all playing cars so the fact that he gets a car that he can actually SIT IN other than push one around with his little hands. He is definetly gonna love this car! I would recommend this car to anyone who has a little boy who loves cars as much as mine does!

Great product my two year old loves it. Very easy to put together. Don't forget to charge up before giving it to your child a a gift or they will be disappointed.

We purchased this car for our sons 2nd birthday. We were so excited, he just loves BUZZ. We put it together, not alot to do which was nice this way, charged the battery and got him in it. It ran for maybe 5 minutes, then went dead. I called the company, they were very nice, told them what happened. They said it was either the battery or the drive shaft, in which they sent out those parts right away. Put the new ones in place, nothing. Called again, then they thought it might be the power switch or the gas pedal, in which they sent new parts out for those. Installed them, nothing. I give up. I'm tired of waiting for this car to run and tired of rebuilding it each time. Very disappointed in this. But hey, maybe we just got a lemon. It happens.
