My wife is always fussing at me for messing with the tv settings during movies or shows so she bought this for me for Christmas so I could could "get it out of my system." I have really enjoyed this blu-ray. Tons of information for all levels from beginner to advanced. The content is very well organized and is broken down to an explanation of what the settings do, to how to adjust the setting, and then features a demonstration the finished product with various Disney movie clips. There are options to calibrate picture and sound, all though I have not explored any sound options yet. Best of all, the disc comes with a blue filter to assist in adjusting color and tint settings. All wrapped up with a Disney feel! Aside from paying somebody a high price to calibrate your tv's I would say this disc is the way to go. I have used it on all my tvs in the house and am very happy with the picture.

This Blu-ray set has one disk with video and photographic scenes of nature, landscapes (etc.) while the second disk has all the Calibration tools. The calibration tools can be used to help calibrated picture and audio settings of your devices which include LCD/LED/Plasma flat screen TVs, computer monitors, CRT TVs, DLP TVs, and Projectors. I used it to help me set the picture settings on my Samsung un55h7150 LCD/LED TV. While this is not a "professional" tool for calibrating, it does offer some pretty great tools for helping to set correct color, hue, contrast, brightness, sharpness (etc) along with a lot of other evaluation options with a "beginners", "advanced" and "expert" level of tools to use for helping to set up a device. It will help you greatly to first get familiar with your devices functions and how to change settings on it. You may also want to look around on the web for forums where others have similar interests and are sharing their experiences with their own TVs, avsforum is a good one. My TV has several options for setting up color, brightness, white balance etc and I was able to find some settings from other owners of the same model I have as there are some expert calibrators on this sight who have shared their settings. Although no 2 television panels are alike, they can be helpful for a starting point for you to do your own adjustments. The Disney WOW disc will help you do this and it is quite fun if you like this kind of stuff. I was able to achieve better blacks, whites, colors from the standard settings.
