I set the net up. the middle of the net sank deeply. i filled the base with water. it did not change the net. it still sank in the middle. pulling both poles tight did not work either. the net continued to sink in the middle. being in the park, I could not cut the net to take up the slack. i do not recommend this item unless you are prepared to make some changes to the net. I may have to fold and tape the net to take up the slack. if that doesn't work, i'm going to cut the net and sew it back together to remove the slack.
You cant beat the value for the price on these, we bought 4 sets to take back to New Zealand to set up a pickleball club. They are quick and easy to set up and we have been playing with all 4 sets 3-4 times a week for 6 months both outdoors and indoors and although we have made some small repairs to the nets they are still lasting really well, We filled the bases with sand and water and also use bungees attached to plastic milk bottles filled with sand to keep the nets stretched. Most of the paddle handles have been re glued and are holding up well considering the near 'commercial' use of these sets, well done Walmart....we want to buy more on our next trip to the US
Quality was satisfactory for price paid. Paddles are made of plywood. Paddle handles are rough, so we wrapped handles with a tennis overgrip, which can be purchased at Walmart for $3.
Junk!
For a beginner this is a great starter
