Dorel Rocker Slipcover, Butter

We ordered this for our son's nursery because we didn't want the typical glider. We picked it up and assembled it last night and couldn't be happier! We ordered the dark brown color. My husband assembled it in about 15 minutes and we put the slip cover on together. It was very easy to assemble. The slipcover fits snugly over the chair and you can't even tell it's not all one piece. And the chair is very comfortable, and has a nice rocking motion, even on our carpet. We are extremely pleased with this chair and definitly recommend it!

Great price and fits the chair pretty well. Nice and soft - no chemical odors as some other reviewers had indicated. There are some wrinkles in the fabric that I can't seem to get out. The color is well represented on the website...just be aware that this is a very light cream color. I would have preferred something a little darker but it would have cost so much more money somewhere else it wasn't worth it. I'll just get another slip cover down the road if I need to since they are so affordable.

The color of the light blue twill is not at all like the picture...it actually is a DENIM material almost acid wash-like dirty light blue. we purchased for a nursery and it is getting sent back. The reciept said denim but the color select said twill so be cautious as it will come in a denim material...not attractive. Otherwise the slipcover has a great snug fit and looks great on...just wish it was light/baby blue and not denimy.

You must buy a slipcover if you buy the rocker frame - rocker looks horrible without one. I chose denim blue for my son's room. The website denim blue is actually a bit more vibrant in color than the real thing, but I'm not opposed to how it turned out. I am opposed to the smell however! Upon opening the package I noticed a heavy chemical smell to the fabric and soon my whole house had the smell lingering in the air. Make sure to air the slipcover out well in a garage or something before putting on the chair in your house! The fabric is nice and thick though and will hold up to wear and tear. The tag says dry clean only but since it is just denim I see no reason why it couldn't be machine washed on cold and line dried. It is a very tight fit on the frame but I put it on by myself without a struggle. Velcros down into place in multiple areas to keep the cover snug and in place. Overall I'd buy this cover again.

I ordered the dark denim slip cover and I'm very pleased. *The fabric feels substantial; it's heavy denim. *Nice accent piping is sewn around the arm rests and the sides of the back. *It fits the Rocker Frame exceptionally well. At first there were a few loose spots but after I pulled and tugged on the slipcover from many different directions I was able to adjust it so it fit just perfectly. A few blasts of steam from my iron took out the deep wrinkles from packaging...
