Arrived ahead of schedule. My partner was able to install with the help of a YouTube video. We saved about $15 on the part over the auto parts stores and over $100 in labor. Took him about an hour and some contorting to get to it. Best of all, the driver's side of our 2010 Impala can again be temperature controlled from heat to A/C and NO MORE CLICKING under the dashboard.
This functions well but would have been better if it had metal gears instead of plastic. Unfortunately they are all made this way.
1. The product had to be disassembled and lubricated with the special grease blob which was inside the unit. If this product is installed without being disassembled and lubricated with this grease properly then it will fail prematurely.
My 2009 Impala had a clicking noise under the dash and replacing this part corrected the issue. My friend took his wife's Impala in and paid over $300 to have it repaired. I was extremely happy with Walmart for the purchase and delivery of this product!
Same as original equipment.
