Dove Dermacare Scalp Anti-Dandruff Shampoo and Conditioner Clean and Fresh, 12 oz

I've been battling dandruff since I was a kid. I've tried shampoos like Head and Shoulders and Selsun Blue--no luck. After trying this shampoo, I was VERY impressed! It even kept my scalp flake-free for the whole day, unlike the others! So good I bought two!

I first tried this shampoo about a year ago and fell in love with it right away. I am one of the people who washes hair each day to keep my hair fresh and clean. No other shampoo & conditioner combo even come close to how much this product has cared for my scalp. I use to buy this product on my local stores but now they are not selling them anymore. Anytime I buy I will stock up as many as I can buy. If you have problem with your scalp (flaky, itchy, etc) I suggest to try this product. I really hope Dove continue making this product in the future.

I was recently diagnosed with SD. After one use my scalp and eyebrows have completely stopped itching! I'm sold!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free in return for my honest feedback after using it. I was excited to see Dove enter the dandruff shampoo market! After trying this product numerous times, I have to say I was disappointed. I have hair that looks thick (many strands of hair but the strands are thin) that is curly/gets very frizzy. I tend to get a dry scalp and some flakes by the end of winter. On a positive note, this product did reduce the number of flakes temporarily. It left my hair feeling very strange each time I used it. It did leave my hair detangled and 'conditioned' but my hair felt like it had a weird residue. It wasn't weighted down because my hair was still dry and frizzy (possibly more so than usual) but just coated in a gooey or greasy film. I also did not care for the smell.

Great scent - not that medicine, harsh smell like other shampoos. And...I can't tell you how soft it made my hair. SO SOFT!!!! I would definitely recommend this shampoo to anyone needing some special care.
