Dove Men+Care Body And Face Wash Oil Control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon receiving my sample of Dove Oil Control & Body Wash I was fairly pleased. It helped control the oil for a a while, but it didn't last as long as I expected it to. It has a nice fragrance but it doesn't lather up as well as I'd like to.

The product was very pleasant to use and left me feeling clean, refreshed. I did notice less oil on my skin and I really liked the fragrance of the body wash. I would recommend this to all my friends.

Skin feels great after a shower. Smooth and clean! I was also provided a sample of this wash for free to review and provide my own opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Men+Care body washes in the past, but I recently tried the Oil Control wash. The first thing that I noticed is that it had a very neutral scent, which I very much appreciated- I don't want body wash that smells like middle school. I felt clean afterwards, and didn't experience any skin tightness that I might with other similar products. However, though there was less irritation I did experience a few dry spots that I haven't seen with other products. Perhaps this body wash has great anti-irritants to prevent redness, but if it's drying more, that might be a wash (no pun intended). I used a lightweight moisturizer afterwards and it turned out fine. Overall, it's a very good product and I would use it again.

First thing to note is that this does not smell pleasant to me. That's why I docked one star. Sorry but this smell is not for me. I can't even describe the smell but I know I don't like it. It's strong and unpleasant. As for how the product actually works. It kept me clean and it seems to live up to the "oil control". If there was another scent available I would gladly purchase that.
