Dove: Ultimate Clear Cool Essentials Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant, 1.6 Oz

It is probably a very great deodorant. But I sweat  a lot in my armpits and this deodorant helps the smell just not the wetness. For example, sometimes I would have pit stains but I would smell good. I prefer a product that would help me stay dry though. This isn't the place to look

I bought this because it smelled nice and promised 48-hour protection. It also cost more than twice what I pay for my usual brand. The first time I put it on, I was fresh out of the shower, but within 2 hours, my armpits were sticky already. It does nothing. I do not sweat excessively. I've repeated the use of the Dove go fresh cool essentials cucumber & green tea scent anti-perspirant deodorant a couple of times to make sure it was not a fluke that it did almost nothing (it does smell nice); in subsequent trials, my pits would get sticky almost immediately. I want my money back.

This deodorant kept me smelling fresh but did NOT keep me dry. Also caused white marks on my dark clothes.

I usually stick with Dry Idea or Sure, but I ran out of deodorant one day and my boyfriend stopped at the store and bought some for me. He bought the Dove Go Fresh Cucumber and Green Tea. I had never tried it but I didn't think it would work. (I have a bad problem with smelling bad after only a few hours) So I tried it out the next day at work. I was at work for 15 hours, then went home and made dinner for me and my kids. By the time my boyfriend came over (almost 18 hours after I put it on) STILL NO STINK! This stuff is amazing. I LOVE IT. I SMELL GOOD ALL DAY!

I have struggled with moderately bad acne since early middle school, and I have hyperhydrosis (a fancy term for excessive sweating.) I used Dove soap at my aunt's house a little over a year ago, and was shocked at how well it cleaned my face without drying out or irritating my skin. I started buying unscented bar soap, and it's definitely the best product for me, both as facial soap and an overall body soap, even in comparison with prescribed face washes. I grabbed Dove deodorant recently, and I was again pleasantly surprised. My brittle armpit skin isn't irritated at all by the product, even if I have shaved that day (unless I cut myself accidentally, of course.) I will definitely continue to use Dove solid deodorant.
