It worked good for a week, now only one side charges. To charge both controllers, we have to charge one then take it out and put the other in the working side.
The rechargeable battery packs that came with my twin charging dock would not hold a charge. I followed the instructions to the letter but within only 7 days one of the rechargeable batteries would not charge at all and the other one would only stay charged for 15-20 minutes. I took this back to the store for a refund. I was please with how easy that was.
This charging dock is well worth the money. Simply put the battery pack on the back of the Wiimote in place of standard batteries and backing, charge it, then play! Definitely saves money on batteries, especially if you play your Wii a lot! My only issue is that the battery packs are a little difficult to get onto the back of the Wiimote. Once you get it to click into place, all is well, but be careful not to bend any prongs on the inside when you're slipping them into place.
Even though DreamGear is the initial innovators when it comes to video game accessories I have to say I'm a little disappointed in this particular product. Only one of the battery packs that came with it actually connect up with the Wii remote and charges well. The second won't stay in the charging stand and I can't get it to connect to a Wii remote. I haven't contacted customer support yet so I have no idea if they will help me or not with a replacement. The one that does work holds a charge for a really long time and you don't have to take it out of the Wii remote to charge it. I definitely do like the fact I don't have to buy so many batteries.
I WAS VERY EXCITED TO TRY OUT THIS PRODUCT (NO MORE NEED FOR BATTERIES) WENT TO PUT THE BATTERY PACKS IN THE REMOTES AND THEY DID NOT FIT! IT WAS LIKE THE PLASTIC MOLD INJECTION MACHINE THEY WERE MADE ON WAS COMPLETELY OFF. THEY DID NOT WORK AND I AM WAITING FOR MY LABEL SO I CAN RETURN THEM.
