It worked good for a week, now only one side charges. To charge both controllers, we have to charge one then take it out and put the other in the working side.
While the product is a great addition to our Wii, saves space, will save money on batteries in the long run and I love the product for the price but....one of the battery packs hasn't been working. I will give it the benefit of the doubt by exchanging for the same item in hopes that a new battery pack is all we need.
This is helpful with being able to put your remote and nunchucks when not in use. However, what i don't like is if there is a silicone cover on the remote you have to remove it in order to sit it in the docking station. Other than that it does what it is suppose to.
Even though DreamGear is the initial innovators when it comes to video game accessories I have to say I'm a little disappointed in this particular product. Only one of the battery packs that came with it actually connect up with the Wii remote and charges well. The second won't stay in the charging stand and I can't get it to connect to a Wii remote. I haven't contacted customer support yet so I have no idea if they will help me or not with a replacement. The one that does work holds a charge for a really long time and you don't have to take it out of the Wii remote to charge it. I definitely do like the fact I don't have to buy so many batteries.
I thought this would be great to recharge the remotes, but you have to have the system on and plugged into the console to charge. I would rather plug into an electrical outlet and not have the system running.
