Dremel 1550 VersaTip Corded Tool Kit for Wood Burning, Soldering, Hot Knife Cutting, and More

As others have pointed out - tip replacement can easily render the tool worthless.

I bought this to repair a brass came antiques lamp. Neither the package nor the instruction say what the wattage is or high the heat goes. Dumb to have to go on the website to find that. And the instructions on using and identifying the tips are no more helpful than they were when jackie27 complained 5 years ago. I had high hopes for the tool, but since the wattage is only 30, I will be returning it.

Brand new to woodburning so would be nice to have instructions that explain how to change tips. Insert explained what the 5 different tips do, however with the exception of the hot knife tip one has no idea which tip is which.

The blade tip wont stay in as the fitting is too loose, no temperature control.
