Drive Medical Super Light Folding Transport Wheelchair with Carry Bag

Very lightweight and well made. Loved it was all put together already.

The wheelchair lasted 5 days before the part that had to be pulled to fold the chair broke off inside and could not be reattached. We were out of town and unable to fold the chair to bring it home on the airplane. Had it happened locally, at the very least I could have returned it to get my money back.

This is not as light as advertised and there is a metal bar right under your knees that is VERY uncomfortable...you need a big pillow under you to use it. It is hard for a handicapped person to handle. If you have a aide and a pillow it will suffice...

I purchased this transport chair because my mom is very over weight and it fit her in the seating area well. We like that the arm rests move up to help with shifting her weight on and off. However, my mom tries to get through the house on her own whenever she has some strength and energy. The chair sits too high up off the ground, which prevents her feet from touching the floor. This chair is only useful when someone else can push her around. She has extreme edema in her legs and feet and even the slightest of leg movement could help give her some circulation. Unfortunately, the chair remains unused because of this reason.

I am impressed ! This wheelchair is so lightweight and moves so smoothly . Its easy to collapse and to lift into the car storage area. Assembly was easy but there needs to be clear instructions written in the Manual on where to find the belt that collapses/closes the wheelchair for storage . I found the instructions by reading thru the shopper reviews.
