Oh, what a save for my knees! This style is what my rental company wants us to use. It doesn't take up much space. You are able to move the rail around to get in the corner to clean. You can't beat this price. Drive products are professionally designed and stand beside their products.

it does what it's supposed to...assists in rising from toilet seat. The only issue was in assembly as the item had fasteners attached which must be removed before assembly. The instructions didn't state that.

Easy to setup and install (but you need to be able to remove and reinstall the toilet seat, so kneeling and some dexterity is required). I would have given it 5 stars, except for 2 wishes, namely: a rubber gasket (to protect ceramic toilet from its metal plate); a height adjustment for rear-support (arm rests are fixed height above the toilet). But it works fine and is great value for those who have some mobility issues.

The legs on this product are very weak and move very easily so that the person can not grab the rails securely. My sister has fallen back onto the toilet several times and hurt her hips. She can only stand on one leg and when she has one hand on the rail the other hand misses the rail because it moves and she can not stand any longer. She then falls back onto the toilet.

Nice unit, not the sturdiest, but works.
