needed a radio for my boat. didnt need the cassette deck or a cd player. just wanted a radio, found this radio on the internet site. matched them up with some marine grade speakers and OMG i cant believe how good this radio works. i spent less than $75 for the speakers, radio and antennae and it all sounds great. If you want an inexpensive radio for your boat, this is the unit to buy. very simple to install. thanks for listening,- oldman joe

we put it in a farm truck and it does very well as far as the radio goes. don't use tape player. remember it is an old tuner style radio but for the price it's great for certain places.

This is a low priced item so expectations were low. That said,sound quality is good and installation was reasonably straight forward. Didn't know you could still buy dial 'tuner" radios for your car.

i wanted to pick an easy radio for my moms old truck and its been the perfect gift two nobs and very easy for her to use i had it delivered by site to store it came in right away my husband looked up the diagram for wiring on the internet and it went right in like it came with it

Let me just say you can't beat this baby for the money. Put it in a Vintage VW for that old-school radio look. I could care less about the tape player, they should just 86-it. The stereo sounds great, has bass boost, stereo/mono (which I needed as the old Beetle has only one speaker), and most importantly, an iPod jack! rock on in your car with your iPod for mere pennies.....
