Echelon Connect Sport Indoor Cycling Exercise Bike + 30-Day Free Membership Trial

It's a great intro bike. Or bike for that person who is going to use it periodically. Right now we are using it because it was so cheap. It's smooth. It's functional. If you're over 165lb, or have any real leg strength, the max resistance isn't very good. If you're looking for big resistance like climbing up a mountain, this is not the bike for you.

Since the moment I got this bike, a day ago, I've had issues. Membership issues for the Fit app. Bluetooth connectivity issues. And on my first real workout, the crank arm broke. Don't waste your money on this bike. Additionally, customer service is horrendous.

I've been spinning for years on well-built Keiser bikes at a local gym, and am pleasantly surprised by how nice this bike is for the price. The bike is solid, all connections seem solid, the bike is truly silent, and I have not experienced clicking or other issues as others have reported. I don't like the design of the handlebar, and wish the handlebar was adjustable horizontally, but for the price I'll adapt. I had some trouble registering on the app. Although Echelon Chat was helpful (and added my 6 months of free class access), they didn't know to scan the serial number on the Echelon website if the photo of the bike's serial number isn't accepted. I changed out the pedals to SPD, use my phone for "freestyle ride" output stats, and am mostly attending zoom classes on my iPad set on a music stand. Next I'll connect a speaker. Add a fan, and it's a great setup! I'll report back after I have used the bike for a few months.. I do have some concerns that connections will loosen up, but we'll see. In the mean time, happy spinning!

I've been riding my echelon sport connect for a week. So far so good. Only a few downsides 1) I cannot sync my fitbit charge heartrate monitor to the bike. 2) I had to order compatible spd pedals to use with my cycling shoes. 3) There isn't an echelon Roku app for watching on my tv.

Got the bike yesterday. Everything worked great, for half day. This morning the resistance knob (the red knob) is not turning anymore. It can be pushed down but not turned left or right. Called the customer service and was told to return it to Walmart. Already threw away all the packages and it is 110 pounds. Not pleasant with it. Is there any easy fix to the knob?
