My 4 year old daughter loves these interactive sets! There are two books in this set and she can do one book in less than 30 mins! She always wants to do these books during our special one on one time when her baby sister is napping. She absolutely loves the Pete the cat pen and I love how it clearly shows when she has picked the right answer vs when she picked an incorrect answer. This set covers a lot of different subjects including letters, numbers and so many more! An added bonus, reward stickers and award certificate is also included! I will definitely order more sets for my daughter so she can continue to learn in this fun way! We will definitely be taking these books with us on our next trips (road trip and airplane), I am always looking for new activities for my kids to do when we travel and these are the perfect way to keep them occupied! I also think these would be good to use during winter and summer breaks so kids don't forget what they have learned in school.

I used this product in my speech therapy sessions. The students loved it. I was able to target many skills including: following directions, numbers, letters, shapes, sequencing, patterns and more. It was a fun activity that I used as a "reward" at the end of our session and I was also able to use it for my lesson to target student needs. I liked was the hot dot pen has a larger size screw so it was so much easier to open.

A perfect interactive "game" for my 4-year-old. It is age appropriate and relevant to what he is currently learning in his preschool classroom. It is a perfect tool for long car rides...my 9-year-old daughter would read him the questions. Pete the Cat is one of his favorite book characters, so he was excited to look through the book and answer the questions. I highly recommend.

My preschool son is a fan of Pete the Cat and really enjoys this educational toy. We have other hot dots sets but he prefers this one the best because of the character and sounds the pen makes. The questions are at a good level for my 3.5yr old, but the only negative is that I need to be there with him to read him the questions out loud. We love to travel with this toy so we keep it in the car for use at restaurants or appointments. This would make a great gift as it's fun and educational.

Our kids really like the Pete the Cat character, they were familiar with him already from books we have so they really enjoyed a new toy with him involved. I really liked that games and questions were meaningful and followed a structure. We have a similar product that was given to us as a gift a year ago and I don't think the level of activity is as meaningful or thought provoking and it has some super weird juxtapositions of meanings of words with Disney cartoon characters. Our kids have kept going back to the Pete the Cat pen both independently and with us reading the questions to them a lot over the past week and a half, so they are definitely interested. It is also very portable and fits easily into a backpack - great for taking to restaurants or in the car.
