My 2 year old son loves to practice his letters, numbers and colors. This product allows him to do all of them! Plus the letters come out of the squares so he can mix them up and put them back in the proper place. The bonus is that if they get dirty they wipe clean with a damp cloth. Fun & functional, does it get any better?

Even though the picture that they show on the site makes you think that you would get more and you don't its still fun to have. The set up was easy, and my 8 month old daughter loves it, and the best part of it is if she rolls over she won't hit the floor hard, she is also learning to put them together a good hand and eye coordination....I would recommend this product for children under 10yrs old....a good play mat to have.

My 13 month old grandson loves these letters. The colors keep his interest and he doesn't seem to tire of them. We play picking out the letters. I say the letters and he points them out. He pats them, and I say what the letter is. He is learning more letters each day in a fun way. He even places them against his chest to teach Nana the letters. Grandson plays everyday at Nana's, so we have the letters laid out like a play mat and have lots of fun building blocks, reading books, or pulling out the letter of the day and saying the words that match the letter of the day. I know he is only 13 mo old, but learning toys like this opens up his eyes and ears to everything around him. The cat walks by, we pick out the letter "C". The postman delivers letters, and we pick out the letter "L". It amazes me that he picks up so much knowledge from the use of these letters. The thickness is great for a safe place area, easy on the feet, easy on Nana's bottom also when sitting down to play with the little guy. I bought TWO sets only because I made a large play area out of them. This is a QUALITY product. It's colorful enough to keep a child interested , easy and fun to use. He can't talk yet except for a few words, but he understands a lot more sounds and words because of these letters. I recommend this LETTER set highly, but you must play with any child for them to gain the most out of this. Definitely worth the price.

This was a good purchase for us. I bought this for my 4 month because of another mom's review. It's great for tummy time because you don't have to worry about a blanket getting scrunced up in the baby's face. And it's great for learning to crawl. On one side, it has kind of a rough texture which is better for gripping for the knees. The only thing I didn't care much for was the letters come out, which isn't that great when you have a 2 year old running around getting into everything! He hasn't torn them up yet, but I think it will happen the second I leave him alone.
