Elec Fireplace

This fireplace is good if you want something very small and don't want to put a tv on it. It does put out a lot of heat but the picture of it was very misleading to me. I needed a fireplace that was big enough for my tv and this wasn't it. I gave it to my grandson for his bedroom and he loves it.

All the reviews I read said how hard it was 2 put together & the directions were bad. Well we had no problems with directions & no problem putting it together.. It looks & works great in my sons room!!! I even started hanging out in there in my recliner watching the fire.. It's very relaxing. Love it!!!

For starters the price is what lured me in. Only 129? What a deal right? Well shipping was half the price. And to my dismay the instructions lacked in detail and some of the plastic parts were warped or may have been melted at some point. I had to use my neighbors drill to make new holes for the screws. When it was finally done it's much smaller than anticipated. Perfect Lil space heater but definitely not intended for a tv stand. My opinion it's not worth the frustration.

I was ready to return this fireplace. However, I had someone take a look at it. He remodel my entire old fireplace w/the new fireplace pieces. Then replace my old heater w/ the new heater. And, was able to screwed the front design to my old fireplace. This disappointing purchase work out to my advantage.

The fireplace is cheap looking, but looks very nice if you do not look to close. The insert is the most valuable piece. I think that a good DIY project is to build a fireplace from wood and just purchase the insert. The insert is nice. The heat vents from the bottom, but it heats up an entire 448 squart foot room and you feel the heat coming up to susequent floors - yes, I know that heat rises. It is too soon for me to tell the savings, but I can say that I was able to reprogram my heating to 65 degrees and still be very comfortable. AI think that Walmart should reconsider the total cost for this piece.
