e.l.f. Clay Eyeshadow Palette - Saturday Sunsets Women 0.26 oz

I bought this Palette after weeks of searching something natural but not boringly matte for every day/ work look. I always use primer before eyeshadow. I was expecting more matte but it came out clay like. I can't describe it, more like a subtle shine without the shimmer, even for the highlight which looks matte, great combination. The instructions of where to apply each shade came in handy as well. I wouldn't have combined them that way. The picture is the final look. I used Lancome Definicils mascara. I absolutely love this look. The medium colors have a green undertone which I didn't notice after applying. The colors look different after application and I am in love. Definitely recommend it and getting other shades from the Clay family.

Saturday sunsets I wish I'd paid more attention to the reviews. This is the worst eyeshadow palette I've ever tried by elf. There's no pigment, it's patchy, I couldn't get the color on my lids and I couldn't get it to stay on no matter what I did- tried with primer & with a wet brush & I felt like I was fighting with it. It's my 1st review of something so bad that I wouldn't even give it away. I'm disappointed because elf is my favorite brand & I pretty much use it exclusively. *PLEASE* fix the formula - the colors are so pretty!

I bought this for travel and it let me down big time. Every single color has glitter in it. Every color. I feel an allnin one pallet should contain at least one true matte, maybe two true mattes. Now I can't use it because I don't want to look like a tween. And I'm stuck with it because I opened it so I can't return it. I really wish they would disclose on the packaging if the shades have glitter or not, especially since you can't see the actual colors with out opening the package.

It's alright. The pigmentation isn't very strong. The shades are nice enough, but the lightest one has a very chunky shimmer. which I couldn't appreciate. Other than that, it's not really that bad. Great for on the go looks, but it's not something I reach for very often

I was excited to try these shadows because they are clay! They claim to be highly pigmented, ha yeah right. You can make them work if you have 5 extra minutes per eye to build color. Sorry but "ain't nobody got time for that". Between tiny size, poor pigment and INCREDIBLY slow shipping (2 full weeks) I was very disappointed!
