e.l.f. Cosmetics Shimmer Lip Gloss, Inspire, 0.088 oz

Since I reviewed this gloss before, I've completely changed my mind. After trying multiple different products, I actually kept coming back to this, and with others to compare it to, I've realized that I actually kind of love this stuff! The fact that it isn't overly pigmented is actually helpful. It allows you to go subtle or build color. When used as a base, it makes an excellent foundation for other products. I love layering this with the Super Glossy Lip Shine (for SPF and extra shine) and the Pout Perfecter for extra sparkle and dimension. It's also really easy to touch up and reapply on the go, and it lasts longer than most other glosses I've tried. I judged this way too quickly, and I'm glad I didn't just throw it out because now, I'm stocking up and using this all the time!

I really don't like this gloss. It is sticky, not at all pigmented, and in general a bad product. I could have received a dud, but still. I ordered the shade "Love" and it came off as a light pinkish tint on my lips. Their Ex-Tra Lip Gloss is much better.

I am extremely disappointed in these lip glosses I had purchased all of them except love because it was sold out. when I tried it on the I couldn't get over how hard the brushes were on each one. there was absolutely no pigmentation in any of them even after I applied more than enough coats! I will not be repurchasing these at all.

I bought this in "Inspire" and it smells like cheese. I mean, I love cheese, but to have lip gloss smell like that? The color is amazing and I love the way it lightens my lips (which are very red at most times), but the smell doesn't work well with me. Maybe I got a bad batch? I LOVE the color though!

I just got this today, and I can already tell a few things. First of all, it's pretty sticky. The color isn't what it looks like on the site, and it's a bit more shimmery than I expected, but it's not really a bad thing. The color is overall kind of sheer, mostly fine shimmer, but the color is definitely there. It smells 'sweet' and doesn't taste foul. Pretty good product overall.
