Ever since I purchased this junk, I have had nonstop problems. For the last 2 years videos would randomly buffer, the audio lags behind randomly. I am just over it and Elgato has officially lost a customer because this is ridiculous. Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT waste your money on this junk.

makes the display look like garbage, high latency from controller- monitor with the elgato hooked up. if i could give a 0 i would.

I've been debating on buying one of these for the last few months and finally convinced myself to try it out on my Xbox Series S. With expectation of recording both game audio and party audio, I set it up with ease and tried it with my friends. Everything they market on the product is true; zero screen latency, recording gameplay, and easy to setup. However, it records all audio EXCEPT your own, because of the headset I have, making it unable to be recorded. I wish there was an easier way to figuring this situation out before purchasing it and wasting my time and money. If you find yourself in a situation like this, you can either: a. Buy a separate microphone and plug that in to capture your own commentary audio, or b. Buy Elgato's "Chat Link" that plugs into the controller and back into the capture card so it can record your own audio with the gameplay. With both of these situations including more money and wires, I decided to return it because of the lack of innovation and information within this product. If your purpose is to record gameplay with your friends, come prepared with a separate, non-gaming headset-attached microphone, or be prepared to spend more money on a company that gives very little specific information with their products.
