I have only had this kettle for a short time and issues typically tend to appear after a couple months of use. Having said that I am liking this kettle so far. The interior material is similar to that of your typical pots and pans. This is great because I think it will likely not become rusted like my previous kettle. The kettle is visually appealing, water heats up great. The lid is a little stiff to get off and on but it doesn't bother me. My main concern is that this item doesn't rust.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using the Elite Platinum Cool-Touch Electric Kettle for about a week now. I love the elegance of it's presentation. It is visually appealing. I love the 'Cool-Touch' feature. When it's on my countertop, I can rest assure, everyone is safe. I found some awkward points with this kettle. The handle provides a really nice thick grasp at the top. But holding it at the thick point, made it awkward for pouring and required readjusting of my grasp to the side of the handle.
