Ellis 4-in-1 Crib In Espresso

We thought the color and style of this crib was beautiful in picture, and it's just as gorgeous in person. My husband had no trouble at all putting it together, and I love how safe and sturdy it feels. Although the shipping box was a bit torn up, there were no scuffs on the wood when it arrived. We are very pleased with this purchase, and hopefully this will help someone else out when making their decision.

i used the site-to-store shipping for the crib (awesome service, by the way) to save on shipping costs...beware, the box comes as a very large but slim square, make sure you have space in your car! we actually had to open the box & place all the pieces in our car...the color is a very dark brown (just as pictured) but with definite cherry/burgundy undertones to it...depends on which piece of wood you're looking at...i think it would go just as well with dark cherry furniture just as well as it coordinates with our own black/brown furniture...assembly was simple except for the mattress support, it takes a bit of patience to get all the pieces facing in the right direction...if you run into trouble here, keep trying, everything WILL fit...we haven't used the crib yet, but it seems to be very sturdy (we've tried shaking & jostling it), and is definitely worth the money...much cheaper than similar cribs other stores! overall, i'm very satisfied with the purchase & can't wait to use it when baby arrives!

This crib is wonderful. The size and color are exactly what I was looking for. The instructions were a little difficult to understand. Ecspecially when it came to the mattress support. Took us a while to figure it out. When the mattress support is set on the highest level with the mattress in place, the bumper that comes with my bedding set, will not tie in the front. This is because the top of the bumper is higher than the crib bars. Other than that, it's perfect!

I absolutely love this crib. It took me forever to find one that I like with the budget that I have. It took a while to put together, like 2 hours, but it is well worth it. It looks really expensive, and I am so glad my husband talked me into getting the espresso finish.

Most of the reviews already here were a great help to help me decide to get this baby crib. The color expresso is beautiful, not reddish or too dark, but just perfect!!!! The crib is really sturdy and high quality construction. It was easy to assemble but much easier if you get some help to do it. It took my husband close to 2 hours to assemble. The instructions were easy to follow but you must read all documentation carefully! I love the flexibility of a 4-in-1, which will transition as our baby grows. The outter banister does not go up or down which is actually better because the baby will not be able to tamper with it and it will avoid injuries. One thing to keep in mind is the size of this crib; it is a VERY large crib!!! But very sturdy indeed!!
