Elmo Nmbr One Chrctr Amng Prschlrs

Despite all the reviews that made the same claim, I went ahead and bought this for my daughter since Elmo is her absolute favorite. As I removed the toy from the box, two stickers were already falling off and one of the little crayons that are supposed to pop up when you press the keyboard was permanently stuck in the down position. The ride on part of the toy (wheels included) seems very stable and of course that is the part that is most important when considering the safety of the toy. I suppose my 15 month old doesn't even realize the purple crayon doesn't pop up - but still - quality should have been better. If your kid is like mine and only Elmo will do, buy it - but expect some flaws. Elmo does sing the Elmo's World song and I would say my daughter thinks that more makes up for a couple of lost stickers.

The ride-on is cute, but there's a lot of other choices out there and I'm sure any one would be better than this one. It has a ton of stickers on it and none of them are stuck on well. It makes the toy look really old really fast. It also worries me because I don't want my daughter to eat a torn off sticker! I am thinking of just trying to take them off and use a cleaning product to get off the sticky residue because the toy will look better without them.

This was a gift for our 1 1/2 yr old son. He is an Elmo fan, of course. It serves it's purpose; he likes to ride it around the house and outside. He enjoys playing with all the little buttons and making Elmo's piano play. He never used it as a walking aid, since he received it well after his first steps, but none the less, it gets used. Here are my cons: the stickers come off- almost immediately; no volume control and you can not turn it off either, so if you're traveling with it, beware. Otherwise, it's o.k.

My daughter got this for her 2nd birthday. We thought she was a little old for it but she had seen a freind with it and loved it. She rode this EVERY day! Loved the compartment under seat, hid her passy,food,toys, etc.... Other kids that came over (even older ones) loved it too. I would recommend this to anyone... ecspecially an elmo lover.......

I bought this toy for my son and he loves it. He is 8 months. I would recommend this toy. The only thing i didn't like so much is that it is a little loud. Other than that it is a great toy.
