I was told this would be delivered within 2 hours. No! Fine print says it could take up to 3 days. I got it after about 36. And when I got it, I couldn't use it. It is for prepaid plans only. I have a monthly plan and get monthly bills, but was told this would work. It doesn't, but I didn't find out until after the fact...
Order confirmation took minutes. Reciting the email with code took almost 2 days to receive code in email. I had to place several calls only to be told it's processing.
This looks like a great idea when you buy the WIFI device. However, T-Mobile makes it close to impossible for you to purchase the prepaid passes from Walmart. They take days to process your order (even though they promise it within hours), and after that, you need to call them to confirm the order.
Good product but Walmart took over two days to send the link to my email, and it was very hard to activate. t-mobile also charged me twice when i went to active this card so i don't know if i will try this again?
I purchased this Prepaid Pass 2 days prior to a trip. Walmart did not verify with my credit card after a full day. The morning of my trip, I finally called the contact number to ask them to complete the purchase with my credit card company. I had already called the credit card company & they said they were waiting on Walmart to complete their end of the transaction. After a couple hours, Walmart then completed their end & the transaction completed. I then received the confirmation/Pin for the Pass. Since this was my first time using the mobile broadband hotspot and buying a prepaid card for it, I had to contact TMobile to set up the new device & get a new phone number. This process took another hour or so. Just in time to leave for my trip. (whew) Tmobile did say that the Pass is good for 60 days & because I purchased the hotspot device from Walmart, it wouldn't matter where I purchased future Prepaid Passes, either Walmart or TMobile. I'm pleased to report the hotspot works great! I did not subscribe to a monthly data plan to keep costs to a minimum and currently use my wifi at home. The card provides 3.5 GB of data for 60 days. Should be more than fulfill my requirements. Long story short... all is well, I would purchase again (but would ask Walmart to complete the purchase sooner!).
