Emerson 1.1 cu. ft. Microwave With Stainless Steel Finish, MW8115SS

I bought this microwave for my 85 year old mother for christmas,,it was very difficult for her to understand,was not pleased with this product!!It worked sometimes,,then not work at all.I finally just got her a new one,,one more easier to work.I would not buy this again,,its the one with the grill,she never did get that to work,,just couldn't read the front and very diffitcult for her to read and understand,,this was in 2008,,and not very old ,,when I just bought her a GE,,very pleased,,ty

I've had this microwave for three years I bought it from walmart for 60 dollars. I have had no problems whatsoever...I don't have any of the problems as the other people. In fact I get many compliments on it, because it looks so expensive. I haven't had to replace anything on it, or blown any fuses, and let me tell you I use it ALOT!! It cooks things a lot quicker than any microwavable package says, I would recommend this unit to everyone!!Works great and looks great, I especially like the bar to pull it open instead of a button...LOVE IT:)

Not much to say other than it works as advertised and looks great. I couldn't ask for a better micro wave unit. This is my second Wal Mart Emerson micro wave in 20 years. That's what I call reliable.

Overall the microwave is good but the time setting is possible only via express cooking so you have an option to set it to either minutes or multiple of 30 seconds. I mean you can set it to 1min+30 sec, just 30 sec etc but if you want 10, 20, 40, 50 seconds, that's not possible and I think that feature is important.

My husband and I bought this microwave with the tax return in 2006. It just died on me 5 days ago. I was trying to heat up some veggies for my kids lunch and it just up and quit! I have tried everything I can think of to try to get it to come back on and nothing. We have only had this thing barely over 2 years. It should have NEVER bit the dust this quick! I would NOT waste my money on this at all!
