Ensure helps me get the vitamins and nutrients I need without overeating. It helps me have lots of energy and like I've eaten a meal. It lasts until snack time or the next full meal. I have gastroparesis that is at the point where I am on pretty much a liquid only diet. I drink heavier liquids at my meals but when I get that hungry/full feeling between meals, I drink one of these shakes and they work perfectly. I love the chocolate taste and it gives me some variety in flavors of the liquids I have to choose from. I subtracted one star because when I first started getting them, there was some sort of ribbon like goop that was in them, but the last four packs I got of them went down really smooth with no goop. So I'm hoping the texture has improved for good. The taste is wonderful though.

I'm really loving these shakes! They taste great and are actually filling. Surprising for such a small bottle. The only thing that concerns me is caffiene level, which I can't seem to find listed anywhere. Would love to know for both chocolate and vanilla (also yummy) Ensure Light. Thanks!

I have tried several Ensure products but this light product has chewy chocolate 'scum' (I don't know how else to describe it) even tho I shook it extremely well. I tried several bottles of the case I bought but each one has about a dozen of these slimy chunks in them. It's not like the coating you get when you cook chocolate pudding, that stuff is great! This ensure light stuff is like chewy chocolate slime. Seriously gross.
