Equate Beauty Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum, 2 Fl oz

I've only used this once so it may be an unfair review. The smell alone is why I'm giving this product 1 star. The price and size was good but I'm serious... I cannot get past the dang smell to continue using it. Not only is it pungent but it does not fade until MUCH longer in the day. (Honestly I probably went nose blind at some point). I work in a groom shop and deal with some pretty disgusting stuff in a daily basis, not much shakes me is my point, I also raised 4 children mind you. Anyway it reminds me of rat urine and yes I know the smell of rat urine. Once upon a time I had several pet rats and even bred breeder mice. Trust me this stuff stinks! I've never bought any other products with hydralaronic acid so I can't be fair about comparing to any other brands. Surely they aren't all this gross. My advice is to pay more for one that has great reviews.

Hyaluronic Acid is naturally occurring in our bodies. It feels great on my face which is 72 years old and wrinkled. The skin seems to plump up. This product is liquid and just smooths in with your fingertips. It is WAY cheaper than the brand name products and actually seems much purer. No additives to speak of. It is 1% strength. I use it every morning just after washing my face.

One look at the ingredient list and I was sold! Water, glycerin, and sodium hyaluronate, and a few preservatives. But that's it! That's really important to me. The bottle is two ounces, so you definitely get double the amount than the pricier name brands, and for 1/8 the price! When applying it, it feels so silky smooth and hydrating. My skin absorbs it immediately and the glow I get is simply amazing. I'm hooked. I will definitely be looking for more Equate facial skincare products!
