stridex is apparently no longer sold in any stores, so I picked up a box of these instead. These work like they're supposed to to clear up acne. I had a breakout from ingesting grains and after the second night of use the bumps are no longer raised, bright red, and angry. They're flat and pale red. Another couple days of this stuff and they should be gone. However, while these try to have a nice scent, they seem to have ALOT of alcohol in them and it overpowers that fragrance. You can smell the alcohol as soon as the bottle is opened and these pads cause my eyes to burn just from swiping them over my cheeks and chin. I use a moisturizer every night, but after the second morning of using these I woke up with my skin tight and dry and my chin was flaking. I'll keep using these until gone, but I'll make sure to apply an extra layer of moisturizer at night.
