I'm not sure if it's the smog, the pollen, the hot, dry weather, or menopause...probably a combination of all. My eyes were painfully dry, horribly itchy, and felt gritty. Without realizing it, I rubbed my lids raw. I picked up these, and the Equate artificial tears, till I could see my ophthalmologist for any specific recommendations. I didn't find the artificial tears that great (stung a bit, didn't offer much relief) but the gel is great. An excellent price, fast relief, and the symptomatic relief lasts quite well. I use a couple of drops in each eye before going to bed and my eyes are very comfortable when I wake up. During the day, I get several hours' relief when needed. Ophthalmologist said use whatever works for you.

I've tried multiple eyedrops , I suffer from chronic dry eyes , which eventually causes blurring vision that comes and goes. These eye drops are wonderful at first you will not see clearly due to it being Gel eye drops when you put it in, but it quickly returns to normal.
My sister sad this is what her ophthalmologist told her to get and boy am I glad I did. I felt like I had a piece of sandpaper in each eye with every blink. The sandpaper is gone and my eyes feel so much better. You can use it up to 4 times a day if needed he said.
