I gave it 3 stars so as not the skew the rating. The box was unsealed and resealed with sticky tape. Some of the sticky tape was cut right along the opening. There is a round sticker sealing the box which states that returns are not accepted due to hygiene reasons. If that is so, then make more effort to see that the box is tamper proof. This was a curb side pick up order. I suggest going into the store to check the box before buying since this item is not returnable. However, the chat agent was very efficient and understood the issue and resolved it to my satisfaction.

Yes, I bought this before and I loved it. Dan and I had the bad again because my family lost the other one so they re-order it and yes, I really do like this. Thank you.

This chair is dangerous. The legs fall out every time you pick it up and the back of the chair doesn’t quite fit, also too large for the metal like the legs. I bought this for my partner who had a short term injury and was always there to help him shower. If you are elderly or showering alone this chair is in no way safe for you to use. The design flaws are pretty major. Having the legs fall out could really hurt someone showering alone.

A lifesaver! Very sturdy, easy to assemble. Insert seat back on either side for the side you want to face. The only issue I have had is that the large suction cups do not connect to the tub. It's possible that they may in someone's tub. I have used my bench in tub, however the floor is not flat, and in a wet room shower with tile floors. The feet have not suctioned down in either, but I had no problems with it moving in the wet room. When used in the tub, I HIGHLY SUGGEST FOR SAFETY that you put the outside feet on a rug to keep them from slipping. Since doing that, I have had no problems with it moving. I also put one of the long tub mats with all the suction cups running under it between the legs longways for safety if I stand up. The mat also helps keep my feet in place when sitting on the bench.

Pros : Sturdy Solid Affordable Easy to clean Readily available (was in stock at my local Walmart) Cons: We are 5 foot and 5 foot two. This chair did not allow us to sit flat footed. It could have another set of holes to adjust it. It would be great if it could also turn into a regular size shower chair instead of a bench once the bench was no longer needed, and the patient could navigate getting in and out of the tub without sliding.
