If you're over 50 with slow growing hair you may want to pass on this. The initial shedding started after a few weeks but I gave up on it because my hair is thinning just about everywhere. I'm not going to continue to use it hoping it will magically start growing hair when even hair in the back is thinning. After reading some forums I realized that even if hair grows back it will continue to cycle from growth to shedding. As someone said this stuff should not be FDA approved.

I first purchased a one month supply of the more expensive brand of Minoxidil on another website. I liked it but did not want to pay double to what the Equate brand is selling at. I have finished my first 3 months with this product and am so pleased, my hair is thicker i have sprouts coming up everywhere on my crown! and let me tell you, this also worked for me at my hair line.. This stuff is fantasitic! Believe me because I was sooo skeptial! If u want hair back...get out your cheap wallet and spend $20 on this product. U have very little to lose and so much to gain! :D

For the price it can't be beat. I've been using it semi-regularly for a couple of weeks now and noticed a substantial decrease in the rate my hair was falling out, but if you stop, it'll start falling out just as fast if not faster. That's not a knock against this, thats true even of the name brand, but for the price, i can afford to stay on it.
